"NEW FAIRFIELD ANSWERED THE CALL", a compilation of biographical sketches, written by Preserve New Fairfield members Linda Decker and Agnes Trimpert, to commemorate the Civil War and honor the Volunteers from New Fairfield.  Actual military records were obtained and historical and genealogical records were researched to explore the spirit of the times and their effect on everyday life.
