Bring the whole family and celebrate Flag Day with a good
old fashioned Strawberry Festival in the new New Fairfield Senior Center
parking area on Rt. 37 in New Fairfield, CT. A long time tradition in New
England, strawberry festivals used to be held in many towns to enjoy the
abundance of that juicy red fruit and mark the beginning of summer.
Preserve New Fairfield will be bringing this old time celebration to our
town. Just $5 gets you delicious homemade strawberry shortcake served by
local Scouts and a fun filled afternoon. From 1 – 4 p.m. (rain or shine),
guests will enjoy a page right out of New England history with Americana
music, raffles, and fun activities for the children, such as face painting.
Come and enjoy a delightful day with your friends and neighbors.

bring it along to enter in the Strawberry Dessert Contest. No entry free.
