If These Walls Could Talk
A View From the Past for the Future
by Agnes-Betty Trimpert
The pond and falls on Route 37 presented a tranquil scene 43 years ago.
Fed by Ball Pond Brook, It appears in the commerce and manufacturing district on
the 1867 town map. Through the years, it has been a recreation spot for winter
skating and summer nature exploration. Home to herons, muskrats, and other
wildlife, it will welcome new neighbors this spring……the new Senior Center and
the Parsonage and Hubbell House.
